Grrr... didn't have enough time to make my Halloween costume this year. Looks like I'll be reusing one of my old ones. It's ok, the costume I had in mind will still be killer next year... it will actually make more sense then, I was just eager to finish it this year.

Q4

4th quarter of the year... work gets really hectic this time of year. Wedding season. Everyone gets married this time of year... last year when I first started my business, I had at least 4 weddings a month. And I'm pretty sure the more established audio rental companies had more. I got so sick of hearing wedding music, I actually was so happy I had my iPod so I could listen to my own music. Hahahahaha.

Busy Saturday...

Whew... had 2 back-to-back events today. Had one in Mag:net at Bonifacio Highstreet, then had to rush to Polo Club for the BMWCCP's anniversary party. Still here in Polo club just relaxing with the guys and having a few drinks.

Q4 is really the busiest... hopefully I can expand enough to take on all the upcoming projects. :) Shopping time for more audio gear... hehehehe...

Retarded...

Just saw a Samsung TVC for their mobile phones that starts off, "Imagine a phone that reminds you what country you're in... Imagine a phone that tells you when night turns into day..." ... uhm, I think you've got bigger mental problems if you need a phone to remind you what country you're in, and to tell you if it's night or day... sheesh... Hahahahahaha...

Wow... the year is almost over. Halloween is just a few weeks away! And Christmas is just around the corner!

The parts I ordered from Germany arrived today!!! Annette is going in on Sunday to have the new parts put in.

Friendster, MySpace, Multiply, and now Facebook... don't we have enough networking sites? Facebook is the new "in" thing now... although stepping back, I still prefer Multiply. Facebook comes second. Facebook requires less maintenance, and I think that's why people seem to like it. You don't really need to type or enter anything... just keep clicking and sending people things. But after a while, it gets kinda boring...hurray... I'm now a Vampire... sheesh...

BMW's Mobile Tradition Program allows ALL BMW owners to order any part (or so they say) from any dealer anywhere in the world for every model they've ever made. Placed an order for a few small parts that Annette needs and are difficult to find. BMW Phil claims parts will arrive in 2 weeks... not bad! Let's see how things turn out in 2 weeks if they really can fulfill my order!

Home Sweet Home!

Got back from the Bacolod/Dumaguete Tour of the Manila Symphony Orchestra w/ Helen Quach and pianist Cristine Coyiuto last Sunday. Very tired. Tour went really well. All shows were sold out!

Doppler Audio is making a name in the classical music community. We now have a reputation with some of the more influential people in the business.

Will be going with the Manila Symphony Orchestra to Bacolod (Lacson territory) and Dumaguete to supervise the audio requirements of the MSO-Helen Quach tour. I hope there's WiFi there or something...

Ok, it's been over a year since I got my site up (It's been a VERY hectic year) ... my portfolio page is less than half done... I still need to upload hi-res files of all my work. At least this blog serves as some sign that this site is still being updated... hahahaha.

A text has been going around that the planet Pluto will be visible this month of July... it will be 34.65 million miles from Earth... blah blah blah.

Anyway, just to put an end to all this... I'm sorry to say, Pluto won't be close to Earth at all. It will be about 2.8 billion miles from Earth, and not visible to the naked eye.

Mars, however, will be close to our moon on Aug 27, 2007. Not sure if this will be visible to the naked eye or not though. Will confirm as soon as I can get concrete info on this.

And will also confirm info on an upcoming meteor shower this August.

For those that still want to see Pluto, please visit your nearest Disney Theme Park. Hehehehe
